Graphic Novel Research and Travels |

 In the last few months the Mauruarend Art Team has been busy doing research and development for my graphic novel. My travels have taken me to the Florida Mega Con, Boston Mega Con and finally to Wizard World in Anaheim California.
During these travels I was able to connect with several industry professionals including long time favorite, Jim Lee, best known for his work in the X-Men. There was much learning about design techniques, illustration styles, and new industry technology. All exciting and helpful information as we continue to create and sculpt the novel and it’s contributing elements.
In the next months I will be bringing you more of this “behind the scenes insight” as I continue to travel and add more elements to the book.

Mauruarend Art Productions |

I am happy to say that we are officially announcing the introduction of Mauruarend Art Productions. This new development of Mauruarend Art has been in works for sometime and I am excited to share this with all those that have supported my gallery and attended our events. This expansion will see the introduction of more artwork and original merchandise in our soon to be launched ONLINE STORE! Also coming soon will be samples of my new graphic novel project with a first stage release date in 2011. In order to best manage and support of all these new happenings and projects I will be closing the physical gallery in May. I will still be active in the Winter Park area and participating in local art festivals and events. I am looking forward to seeing you out and about as well as connecting with you online.
